FTP Instructions: Windows Vista and Windows 7

This how-to will walk you through connecting to our FTP server using Windows Vista or Windows 7. You will need to contact us to get a user name and password.

Internet Explorer Users: IE7, 8, and 9 will NOT handle FTP transfers. To upload files to us, you will need to follow the directions below.

NOTE: Please send us an e-mail once you have uploaded your files; include a job name, instructions, and a phone number so we can contact you in case there are any questions.
 

How to connect to the Quality Blueprint FTP server:

  1. Click on the Start button and click on Computer.
  2. Right click in the Computer window and select Add A Network Location.
  3. The Add A Network Location Wizard will now start. Click Next.
  4. Select Choose a custom network location and click Next.
  5. Paste or type the FTP link given to you into the Internet or network address box, and click Next.
  6. Give the new network location a name, such as QBP FTP. (This will help you find it again in the future.)
  7. The Wizard is now finished. Make sure the Open this network location when I click Finish box is checked, then click Finish
  8. Now you will have an empty window, and you can drag and drop files into it to upload them to us!

     
  9. Once your new Network Place is added, you can connect to our server any time by going to Computer and clicking on QBP FTP!
