This how-to will walk you through connecting to our FTP server using Windows Vista. You will need to contact us to get a user name and password.
Internet Explorer 7 Users: IE7 will NOT handle FTP transfers. To upload files to us, you will need to follow the directions below.
NOTE: Please send us an e-mail once you have uploaded your files; include a job name, instructions, and a phone number so we can contact you in case there are any questions.
How to connect to the Quality Blueprint FTP server:
- Click on the Start button and click on Computer.
- Right click in the Computer window and select Add A Network Location.
- The Add A Network Location Wizard will now start. Click Next.
- Select Choose a custom network location and click Next.
- Paste or type the FTP link given to you into the Internet or network address box, and click Next.
- Give the new network location a name, such as QBP FTP. (This will help you find it again in the future.)
- The Wizard is now finished. Make sure the Open this network location when I click Finish box is checked, then click Finish
- Now you will have an empty window, and you can drag and drop files into it to upload them to us!
- Once your new Network Place is added, you can connect to our server any time by going to Computer and clicking on QBP FTP!
